Collecting and Using your Personal Information

CGS does not collect any Information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to CGS. You may be requested to provide certain information to CGS when you elect to use certain products or services when engaging CGS. CGS will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from CGS. Information may include, inter alia: registering for an account on our website; signing up for special offers from CGS or its selected third parties; sending CGS an email message; and submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering and purchasing products and services on the CGS website.

CGS collects and uses your Information to deliver the services you have requested. On selected occasions and as permitted by law, CGS may also use your Information to inform you of other products or services available from CGS. If you do not wish CGS to disclose your information to a third party, you may opt out. If you do not wish your information to be used for a purpose that is materially different from the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the individuals, you may opt out.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

CGS does not sell, rent or lease its client lists to third parties. CGS may disclose your Information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary. Specifically, CGS may disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

Monitoring User Behavior

CGS may monitor the websites and pages users visit within CGS, in order to identify CGS services of interest. Such data may be used to deliver tailored content within CGS to clients whose behavior indicates a unique interest.

Collecting and Using your Computer Information

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by CGS. This Information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This Information may be used for the operation of CGS’s services, to maintain CGS’s service quality, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the CGS website.

You have the right to request access from CGS to any of your personal data. You have the right to correct, amend, or delete that information where it is inaccurate, or has been processed in violation of the Principles, except where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to your privacy in the case in question, or where the rights of persons other than you would be violated. Accepting and Declining Cookies

The CGS website may use “cookies” to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a file that is placed on your computer system by a web page server. Cookies may be uniquely assigned to you and may be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

Communicating through Email

CGS may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. To improve CGS services, CGS may receive a notification when you open an email from CGS or click on a link therein.

Notifying you about Policy Amendments

CGS reserves the right to amend this Policy. CGS will notify you about significant changes to the way we handle Information. Notification will be made through one or more of the following methods: (i) an email to the address specified in your account; and (ii) notice on the CGS website.

Your continued use of the website and/or CGS services after the notification of a Policy amendment will constitute: (i) acknowledgment of the modified Policy; and (ii) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.

Committing to Comply

CGS complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. CGS has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework PrinCGSles (EU-U.S. DPF PrinCGSles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and from the United Kingdom (and Gibraltar) in reliance on the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF.  CGS has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework PrinCGSles (Swiss-U.S. DPF PrinCGSles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF.  If there is any conflict between the terms in this Policy and the EU-U.S. DPF PrinCGSles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF PrinCGSles, the PrinCGSles shall govern.  To learn more about the Data Privacy Framework (DPF) program, and to view CGS’s certification, please visit https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/.

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has jurisdiction over CGS’s compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. DPF. CGS is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the FTC and is liable in cases of onward transfers to third parties.

An individual has the possibility, under certain conditions, to invoke binding arbitration for complaints regarding DPF compliance not resolved by any of the other DPF mechanisms. For the avoidance of doubt, FTC action may proceed in parallel with arbitration. Independent dispute resolution bodies are designated to address complaints and provide appropriate recourse free of charge to you. Options for dispute resolution includes the following: (1) the panel established by the EU DPAs and, as applicable, the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) (and the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority (GRA), and/or the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), (2) an alternative dispute resolution provider based in the European Union and, as applicable, the United Kingdom, and/or Switzerland.
